This was a fun project! I filmed the whole intro with the Elvis shrine, through to the end of the convenient store confrontation. Someone else filmed the epic tribal ceremony at the end.
People say all you need is a good story but I disagree. You also need lighting. Without lighting, you will have a flat muddy image and people will not be drawn into your image or appreciate the story. You can use all natural light or you can buy some cheap LEDs such as I used in this video.
Good props also boosts the production value of your music video. I love the little Elvis shrines and the peanut butter banana sandwich dad offers at the altar. Visual interest is essential to music videos.
