I met Millhows at a wedding. He was running the photo booth and I was an assistant videographer at the time. A couple years later, he released an album with his band Jean Jackets. I gave it a listen and said “hey we should make a video” and he agreed.
We filmed in San Jose at night. Millhows found an old wheelchair on the side of the road and we used that to get the tracking shot. Almost everything else is handheld. For some scenes, I used my Westcott IceLight. Its a handheld light that looks like a lightsaber. Really useful for when you’re trying to keep a low profile!
